A 12V RV AC pulls straight from the house battery — no inverter, no shore power, no engine idling. Three form factors cover most van and RV builds:
- Rooftop 12V AC (Aspligo 10,000 BTU, B0CFH5QNSW) — fastest cool (drops cabin 15-20°F), saves floor space, but needs a permanent 14"x14" roof cutout. Best for full-time vanlifers and renters with permission to modify.
